MEET a COMPOSER
Michael John
(MJ) is one of our most versatile composers with a diverse and eclectic list of recent TV credits to prove it. Including inspiring orchestral cues for the Biggest Loser and Disney's Cinderella DVD, funky grooves for NBC's 2007 Fall Lineup, electronic rock promos for Law & Order, and hip-hop tracks for MTV's Pimp My Ride. His music has also landed many season finale promos including American Idol, Law & Order and America's Got Talent.MJ got his start at the age of 17 when he composed, arranged and produced the theme music for the controversial TV show, The 700 Club. While serving as the CBN staff Music Director he composed hundreds of TV scores and themes. At the age of 21, he quit and has been independent ever since. Since 1988, MJ's award winning compositions can be heard in film and video scores, themes, jingles, artist tracks and now with Sonic Librarian, on network show and film promos.
